I joined the Praveen’s Lab as a postdoctoral research associate (Dept. of Biotechnology, Govt. of India) in July 2018. I received my Ph.D. from Institute of Advanced Study in Science and Technology, Guwahati and then went for a post-doctoral research experience at Institute for Frontier Materials, Geelong, Australia. During my Ph.D. and postdoctoral studies, I focused on different aspects of nanoparticulate drug delivery system for restoration and repurposing of old inefficacious antibiotics against multi-drug resistant bugs. Currently, I am working on “dual delivery of anti-VEGF and antibiotics based dry powder inhalation adjunctive therapy targeting granuloma microenvironment and dormant bacilli to accelerate the clinical cure of tuberculosis.” In Praveen’s lab, we have a great team with diverse field of expertise which facilitating me a perfect niche and exuberant work environment. I follow the ideologies of A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, Craig Venter, and Elon Musk and strongly believe that translational research and science entrepreneurship is the key for 99% of all existing problems and I personally trying to contribute a little for the same.
