Gautami Narsinh Thakur

I am a Master’s dissertation student at inStem. I completed my Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from Dhempe College of Arts and Science, Goa, and I am currently pursuing my M.Sc. in Organic Chemistry at VIT Vellore. My research focuses on hybrid hydrogel-based drug delivery systems, involving their design, synthesis, and exploration of translational applications. I am also involved in exploratory work on next-generation pesticide development, applying principles of bioisosterism to design novel chemical entities.

Gautami Peddinti

I'm a final year Integrated MSc Biotechnology student from VIT Vellore, currently working as an intern.
My work focuses on the visualisation of neuromuscular junctions in rat muscles using α-Bungarotoxin staining.

Hobbies: Listening to pop music and EDM tracks, playing badminton, watching Sci-Fi/Dystopian movies and baking.

Manas Kumar Pradhan

Basically I am a Material Chemist and my background is Chemistry. I earned my Doctorate degree from IISER Bhopal in 2024, followed by joining this lab as a Postdoctoral Fellow. Here in this lab my research focuses on the design and development of stimuli-responsive prodrug-based self-assembled hydrogel systems for diverse biomedical applications, including antibacterial therapy and vascularized composite allotransplantation (VCA). In a parallel project, I am developing an antibacterial self-assembled rinsing solution for the treatment of oral inflammation.

Mukesh Dhanka

I am Post-Doctoral Fellow in Praveen’s Lab. I have received my Master’s and PhD in Biomedical Engineering from IIT Bombay. My current research interests are mainly in therapeutics delivery, immunology and biomaterials. My PhD work was on the development of injectable composite biomaterials for the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis.

Utkarsh Bhutani

Hi-I am Utkarsh, Postdoctoral Fellow in Praveen’s lab. I received my Bachelors in Biotechnology from VIT University and completed Masters (2014) and PhD (2019) in Chemical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Hyderabad. During my PhD, I worked on cross-linker free sodium alginate and gelatin hydrogels and identified the role of plasticizers and monovalent salts in modifying the physical properties of these gels.
